July 2020. I am so excited to release my latest book about granddaughters Annabelle and Maisie. During the stay-at-home period of the pandemic, which is still (sadly) going on……the girls were home with their parents, who continued to work from home. They played well together–MOST of the time, but mom Shannon says they DID often compete for attention, so this story fit in very well with reality!
It was a blast making up crazy dreams and imagining what great artwork my illustrator, Jaime Buckley, was going to create. His sense of humor matches so well with the tone of the story. His art always brings smiles to my young audience and their parents as well.
